Adventure travel, outdoor movement, and transformational practices involve real risks. By joining a Sol Pathway tour, participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with the activities described below. This acknowledgment is intended to ensure informed participation, not to discourage you — it's simply important that you know what you're signing up for.
Mountain biking and all physical activities associated with Sol Pathway Adventures tours carry inherent risks including, but not limited to, falls, collisions, overexertion, muscular injury, joint injury, and fractures. Participants acknowledge that even with proper equipment and guidance, accidents can occur.
Tours take place in natural outdoor environments including jungle terrain, mountain trails, and variable weather conditions. Participants may be exposed to uneven terrain, wildlife, insects, heat, humidity, rain, and other natural elements that are beyond the control of Sol Pathway Adventures.
Breathwork and meditation sessions may produce intense emotional, psychological, or physical experiences. These practices are not a substitute for medical or mental health treatment. Participants with a history of cardiovascular conditions, epilepsy, psychiatric disorders, or pregnancy should consult a healthcare professional before participating.
While guides are trained in basic first aid and carry first aid equipment, Sol Pathway Adventures does not guarantee immediate access to emergency medical services. Participants are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions, allergies, or medications that may affect their participation.
Tours take place internationally in Costa Rica. Participants are responsible for ensuring they hold valid travel documents, appropriate travel insurance, and comply with all applicable entry requirements. Sol Pathway Adventures is not liable for delays, cancellations, or loss related to travel arrangements.
By registering for a Sol Pathway tour, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this acknowledgment of risk, that you are voluntarily participating, and that you release Sol Pathway Adventures and Chris Theisen from liability for injury, loss, or damages arising from participation — except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Sol Pathway Adventures values your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a visitor or client. We keep it simple and honest — no legalese, no hidden practices.
We collect personal information you voluntarily provide when contacting us or booking a tour — including your name, email address, phone number, and any health information relevant to safe participation. We do not collect payment information directly; any payments are processed through secure third-party providers.
Your information is used solely to communicate with you about tours, answer inquiries, confirm bookings, and ensure your safety during experiences. We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
By contacting us or booking a tour, you consent to receive email and phone communications related to your inquiry or reservation. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by replying to any email with "unsubscribe" or by contacting Chris directly.
